Mathieu Memorials is owned and operated by Marc and Stacy Mathieu.  The company was founded in 2001, dedicated to providing Connecticut families the very best in custom memorial services and personal customer care. We feel it is of the utmost importance that each family is at ease during the selection and fabrication process, and is completely satisfied with the memorial.

Marc has been involved in nearly every aspect of memorial work – design, granite importing, cemetery carving & lettering, foundations, and installations. With this experience comes a knowledge of the entire memorialization process and an attention to detail that our clients depend on. Families can be confident the completed memorial will exceed their expectations.

With a background and education in Studio Art, Stacy is highly involved during the memorial design, layout, and design approval process. Stacy also does all of our granite hand-etchings, and her work is highly acclaimed and recognized throughout the state. In 2008, a Mathieu Memorials monument to Connecticut’s Ninth Regiment Civil War soldiers, featuring nearly 50 square feet of Stacy’s etchings, was installed at the Vicksburg National Military Park in Vicksburg, MS.
